Welcome to 2008-09!
Our library is full of new books along with old favorites, and I look forward to sharing them with you (as soon as I get the boxes unpacked!) While we're settling in to the new school year, it would be a great opportunity to add a comment here about a book you enjoyed this summer!

California Young Medal Award Readings
Over the past few weeks we have been reading nominees for the California Young Reader Medal 2008. The titles include Dex the Heart of a Hero, Henry and the Buccaneer Bunny, I Wanna Iguana, The Giant Hug, Traction Man. In a couple of weeks a few classes will be voting on their favorite book.
